Chadwick E. Becks received his B.Mus. and M.M. in classical guitar performance. He studied with David Skantar, Tom Kikta, Aaron Shearer, Ken Karsh, and Tim Bedner. Though he started at the age of eighteen, he has had the privilege of performing for such masters as Jason Vieaux and Ricardo Cobo. Chad made his professional debut with the West Palm Beach Opera in Otelo three years after he began playing.

Currently Chad makes his home in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife Kristin who is a visual artist. He teaches privately in Pittsburgh and throughout the nation with his Elite Guitar Program.

Chad plays with The Three River's Mandolin Consort. He loves to take guitar pedagogy to new heights in combining classical teaching practices with improvisation methods of jazz, rock, and pop.
